3000 is fine. No, good even. It's going to last as long as current phablets atleast. Would love to see them double it at the expense of thickness but the average customer is sadly looking more at how thin the device is than at it's battery life..

Motorolla X Phone was Andy Rubin's idea for Google as (moto) to take Android Domination from Samsung ..
but Since he isn't Android Leader any more ... Google will keep moto as it is . X Phone will be just like Moto Razar
and Focus in US Market & Part of Europe & Have no interest in the rest of the world ..

Well Samsung took advantage of google os and Nokia to become no1 its not that they innovated they saw every other company struggle and these people had amoled screen + own Soc + own factories to make phones so they didn't have to loose anything. Samsung took advantage of everything B***H samsung.
Google needs to make a powerfil Moto X phone

But has there been any news about the new rumored tablet besides S800 cpu? I would be sorely tempted by better higher res screen/speakers (same sized as tablet z)? Approximately how long a wait for global availability after announcement?
I would buy tablet z now, but it's not even be available here until Jun or maybe Q3 and by then new tablet would be announced? It's really a downer, since tabletZ was announced in Jan'13. But now there's really not much nice high-res tablets out there to choose from, minus ipad.

also, not really sure what it means as far as sensor size in the One Sony. Sony has always made great sensors. It's their post processing that has been poor. That's something I'd like to hear is getting a re-vamp with new algorithms and such.

Seriously not really bad . in comparison with recent Competitor
LG Optimus G Pro has
3140 mAh with 9.4 mm Thickness .
Note 3 however might carry higher battery but it might not as Slim as
Xperia Phablet Z as it adopt omni balance design.
Xperia Z is
7.9 mm Thick and Xperia Tablet Z is
6.9 mm | Xperia Phablet Z should be somewhere in between or slightly higher than Xperia Z ..

Well... This is not a good news for One Sony then.
Could the difference in term of image quality between Pureview's 1/1.2" sensor and the One Sony's sensor be noticeable? I hope Sony will bump the sensor size up for the retail model, hopefully on par with 808.
