now it's time for new discoverers with fresh mind and, what is most important, determination to improving. i don't want to write like retired old man but my time has passed (i feel that i did everything). you have to wait for new minds
- K800 modders are very shy and they fear of large changes in code. people expecting something "big" from modded K800 driver but it's hard to invent something in this situation
- Chris (main K550 modder) is going in wrong direction because he is doing things which were checked already and signed as "nothing big"
all of them have the common disadvantage: they aren't analyzing history of K750/W800/W810 drivers. history which is like a great map explaining code structure, driver features, rules of driver's work, etc. maybe they need time to understand all of this. i hope so

I'm trying to add some profiles to your driver using zoom and exposure but I always have a weird behavior on zoom and not the desired exposure.
Could you tell me how to enable and apply an especific value on this properties on a profile and disable for other profiles?

conclusion:
final v6.6 is the best what i could give you, main goals was:
- max camera stability with max quality
- finalize code responsible for colors management and their co-operation with all five WB settings
- finalize profiles features and settings
use it as it should be used because driver will not do all job for you. it's comfortable and easy to use, no forcing to use additional supermode functions or tricky combinations for special modes. i'm not expecting nothing more from my 2mpx
some words about the config tool... well, in my opinion it is powerful tool if you know what modifications or customizations you want to do. the best solution? profiles, because they are going considerably farther than just simple properties modifications - you can prepare your camera for almost all types of scenes and situations. if you're using driver which isn't compatible with the tool don't blame me for that
