Oh well at least it's not just me that gets misquoted then even the great Nokia do as if you check you will find no where did they say DVD quality. It was always and is near DVD quality and that was when they were talking about Video recording to @640x480 30fps all that time ago now on the N93.
Who cares, it's still a lie. They know that whether they say "near" or not the average punter just reads "DVD Quality". Fact is vga mp4 is
no where near DVD quality. An average DVD runs at about 6MBps (and can run up to 10) and 720 x 576 resolution.
It's the same thing calling 128Kbps mp3 "near cd quality". What a joke.
Next time you watch a N93 video stream really ask yourself - "if I was watching this on a professionally recorded DVD, would I consider it "near DVD quality"? Wouldn't you feel
just a little ripped of if you bought a movie on DVD and it had the quality of N93 recorded video?
N93 video can't even be compared favourably to a poor quality VCD let alone a fulll quality DVD. I don't understand how people can propogate, let alone believe, these marketing lies.

HI! Put your tones in the big windowsfile (root of it) Not in rings. It worked for me. Then you will find your tones for sms.

Guys annyways to have a full sceen picture of the caller when the call comes in. the display pic looked awesome when i was using UIQ. In WM the picture is so small it remind me of symbian old times.

Ok, the movie I transfered over to the memory card showed up in the My Media Panel after I soft reset the phone, still learning Win Mob.... The music player in the Media Panel on the other hand is just broken by the way... The stuff I talked about it doing, it does ALL of the time, not just when it's hooked up to my car deck through bluetooth. I hadn't noticed it until now, because I mostly use it in conjunction with my car deck. It's definitely a broken beta piece of software, so buyers should definitely beware if they're planning on buying this thing to replace another phone that serves this function, or plan on using this thing exclusively as their MP3 player.... When does SE plan on giving us a software update for this thing btw?...

I also think the media player has its flaws. Theres no equalizer and you cannot skip songs using bluetooth. When I play music, I use its Windows Media Player using another software to create playlist. It did not provide equalizer too, but sound quality is good enough for X1. Good thing is that I can skip songs and adjust volume using my bluetooth headset ^^

This is what I have reported to X1 support last month...
Media Xperiance Panel - only A2DP support, no AVRCP support, music stops playing when you leave the panel for another panel, music continues to play when you move to another application via Start menu
Media Player - A2DP support, limited AVRCP support (play/stop, previous/next track, volum up/down), no track information displayed
Bluetooth - does not accurately show all the services available in the connected device, stops/skips when phone switches between 2G/3G/HSPA, general performance issues during audio playback 96kbps and above.
BUT despite these issues, the sound quality from X1 is very very good.

Ok, glad to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing all of these problems with the Media Panel! I was starting to get worried that it was just me. Sure the sound is good, but it's not THAT good to have to deal with all of this bullshit. I wish I had waited a little longer to buy this thing at Best Buy so I could return it for a full refund, because as it now stands the more I use it the more I want to return it. Also, this phone has locked up on me HARD about 3 times so far in about 5 days of use (and while doing nothing special or taxing at that), and SO hard that I had to remove the battery each time, which wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to struggle sooo hard to remove the damn battery cover tbw. I think my phone is the only phone produced out of the whole production line that the customer doesn't have to worry about their battery cover accidentally popping off like other users have mentioned theirs doing on their X1's...
