Z610i using bluetooth connection. I'm sorry if I sound ignorant but I'm still new to all this phone terminology so I have no clue what MPE is and I'm equally ignorant on computer networking.

I only know to transfer stuff via bluetooth to my phone and thats about it.

EDIT: oops, just realized what MPE stands for, but I don't know anything about COM ports.

@Cocoa
Are you using XP on your PC?

Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Bluetooth Devices > COM Ports

Find out which COM Port your device is on, then open MPE > File > Options > Connection, select the appropriate COM port, make sure the BT is on in the phone, the click on the Synchronise icon.

Yes!! I finally got it working, this is great!

I went to My Bluetooth Places then activated 'virtual serial port' connection with my phone and it got COM 4. The MPE was able to detect the phone then.

Thank you for this great program, makes organizing things so easy. My only tiny complaint is that it claims to support Arabic but it only displays Arabic characters in titles but when I open a message it displays those weird square boxes...

Zillertaler has a great forum on his MPE website where you can talk to him direct if you have any issues, and if there are any additions needed to language files of national holidays you can add the info yourself! Just don't ask him to make MPE symbian compatible!

Enjoy!

@nda.tarun
Yes it does!

@mikelholla
COM Ports are required for USB connections aswell as BT connections.
Use the USB drivers that are on the disc that came with your K810. That will allow you to connect your K810 to your PC. Your K810 will appear on 'My Computer' as an E: drive or F: drive. Once you have this sorted, go into Network Connections > Phone and Modem Options > Modems and find which COM Port is assigned to your USB cable. Then set MPE to that COM Port as above.

K810 USB drivers (as part of PC Suite) can be found here if you need them.
