Hi Boba,
It's more likely something Voda have done in there infinite wisdom customizing the firmware IMO.

Boba ive had to of the buggers both boxed sealed brand new from Vodafone, the 1st one had alot of faults but this one just switches of..
I have all the repair papers done on it they've replaced the screen,
I don't know what they did the second time as it went to Nokia.
im hoping if I take it into repair again they'll just replace it with another,
altho im very tempted to get rid of it.
It's not worth much £100 if im lucky lol
I checked if it was locked, it is
I don't know if the firmware the issue im getting the hint that
it's the slider mechanism.
it could be a faulty flex cable or something,
I don't know if Noka changed this anyway cos ive no note on the service paper, it's lasted 4 weeks btw but switched of the other night which made me angry GRRR!

Ok, I'm about to pull the trigger on an E90 - had my N93 for a while and actually liked it, switched to a Blackberry 8800 simply because I needed to be more familiar with the handset but now ready to come back to Nokia. I know there's a slightly newer on the E90 on the way but looking to get an E90 fairly cheap, any reason I shouldn't buy one?
The reason I ask this is if I've seen a few complaints about the Vodafone E90 and some speaker issues.
Thanks,
John
