I always pay with paypal BUT he would not accept it from my country, Spain.
I have been buying for years all over the net and using Paypal, but he said "no", and there was only the bank transfer he accepted.Actually I did not want to do it, but after some mails, I trusted him.
That makes Friday-Monday-Tuesday

if you sent the money on Friday then you don't count that day, so probably tomorrow or latest tursday they should have it.
just have a little patience with these sort of transactions, especially from trusted traders

First impressions:
1. there's now an option to download service provider settings by going to Setting-General-Setup wizard-Settings download
2. All pre-defined settings under Connectivity, such as Data Communication, Internet and Streaming settings are now removed and default as per settings of my service provider.

Great news about the 3G signal! I've noted that my W880i drops 3G way more often than with my K800i, same operator/SIM. I've just accepted it since handover works like a charm these days, however it annoys me when I wanna use WAP and check my mail. With my K800i it is extremely rarely that the 3G handover to GSM, the W880i does it very often.
Did you experience the same? Anybody else?
So now the annoying wait is here for a firmware update, I'm a cheap bastard and won't give Wotan 7 Euros

yeah my 3g drops a little. ive got a sim free one from hk, rijc002. could just be vodafone though. voda reception sucks here!

So either, software is wang, hardware/radiochip is smaller/weaker due to phone size or I have a faulty unit. The latter I doubt, phone works like a charm without any oddities, exept for this handover then...

One week ago I got my w880i unbranded. I'm from Italy and H3G is good here though I use only gsm.
Battery lasts for 7-8 days with normal usage: calls, no video-calls, sms, blogging, on-off and quadrapop

It is less than my previous w800i, but really thin. It's a matter of taste.
Loudspeaker is horrible (both compared to 6288 and w800i) but in such a small space you can't have a regular one.
Video-calls are smooth, media player works much better than w800i even if I don't use disc2phone and I don't know how to place jpg's covers.
I have small hands so no problem at all with buttons. T9 is better than ever suggesting next word even before typing it!
I use roaming from 3 ISP, so signal sometimes is weaker than a pure GSM signal. I tried with both 3 ISP (h3g) and TIM ISP (gsm) in the same place and it gains 2 bars.
When in charging C, task selector and right buttons stays on.
No software update available here, yet.
Firmware version is CXC1250640 - R1JC002 - 070122.

I have a question: Is there anyone who got a flash MXE-60 and tried it with this cellphone?
IMHO: the best concept phone ever made. The lack of a good camera is not important as calls are most. In-flight mode works as usual. Battery duration is a record (why not a 1100mah?). Blogging is funny (http://yakkosview.blogspot.com). Size let you feel free and I love the soft touch of the red part.
