Now back on topic

SE are more foucused on putting cyber-shot and walkman stickers on their phones and not focused on putting in quality and performance.

These arnt bugs, people are finding in the k850, it is ignorant SE not caring about there phones, and hoping there brands can sell. It is a sick marketing ploy. And it looks like its working.

Oftopic, another example, have ever made a solid smart phone that never needed 57 firmware updates in a year? Ok that was exagerated but you know what I mean

SonyEricsson cameras have a horrible yellow tint on their photos very horrible. At the end of the day SE lost the results were poor the phone is bad i had one never again. Even What Mobile said its camera was not as expected and riddled with bugs. Nokia always gets their cameras right with early firmware so why cant SE. Its not a very good phone admit it. SE will never catch up with Nokia with its market share and sales too many people prefer Nokia they are far more innovative and early firmware bugs are no where near as bad or as many as SE phones. I have had not one problem with any Nokia i have had. Sorry but its the truth.

i can fully agree, i don't like this strategy. for example: first version of K750 has decent camera, some time later second version of K750 appears on market and unlucky camera quality is much lower. next example: 2MP K750 released in 2005 can do much better shots than 2MP K550 released in 2007 with "Cyber-shot" label. insane? that's why SE lost respect in my eyes

SE should do something with drivers development team and whole development process. when i'm looking into code i can see that many things were done "as quick as possible" not "as good as possible". maybe they think in this way: "not so good as should be? no problem! label this as cyber-shot or walkman"

Another thing with poor quality camera and rushing phones out riddled with bugs SonyEricsson are risking their reputation with the everyday ordinary consumers who do not have time or access to software updates and it then becomes a total pain to ordinary people using their phones sending them back. They slap them out with Walkman or Cybershot but the quality is nothing near to any dedicated product out there with that branding. Very very bad and i think they are risking it all with ordinary consumers. I think i should leave this site i will be hunted by SE fans. Lol. Bye.

just when we though this thread would never end... suddenly it has!

this seems no longer to be "N95 vs K850" and perhaps better fits the new What would make the k850 better thread

so I am happy to close this so we can continue in the new thread (which, btw, is an SE only discussion and requires no further comparison with Nokia)
