Cyber Ray.. oh! you got
2 for P12,000? or P12K each? If 2 for P12K, then that's a pretty good price.

I just noticed: the P800 documentation mentiond 4hrs to charge the batt. Even if I have the batt to super low (one time talagang drain) and the charge time does not reach 4hrs. Don't know if this is bad or good. Does anyone else experience this?
What are your charging strategies? Do you guys wait ma drain yun phone or do you charge when you get the chance? Also is it advicable to leave the phone off while charging or is it ok to leave it on?

Yup. This is a cool RPG. Like one of the old RPG's where you'd have to create action verbs to actaully do somthing. Pretty handy when you're in for a long wait with only your P800 by your side

good day! just got my p800 last sunday. i have a question if it won't be too stupid, please permit me. How do I connect to Yahoo Mail using Globe? what should be my settings? I tried requesting from 2951, but I don't think their settings work, or maybe the server is just way too slow? Please advise

@marjonz.. well, you cant. Yahoo's POP3 access (which is what you use for accessing mail servers remotely) is no longer free. I think Globe also closed the ports for accessing POP3 accounts.. I tried using HotPOP (a free POP3 mail server) but to no avail...Hope this helps.
Or are you try to access yahoo through WAP?
if this is the case, the AutoConfig msg from 2951 should work fine.

'go p800' to 2951 usually works but sometimes you have to wait a few minutes. if i remember correctly you also have to reply to the accompanying text message so that it sends you all 3 settings (WAP, MMS, Web).
for yahoo, you might still be able to access it via WAP at wap.yahoo.com if it hasn't been blocked off yet. if not, and also for POP3 mail, you have to access it via the Internet setting (APN = internet.globe.com.ph) although you will be billed P0.25/kb for it.

Since, the P800 uses a Li-polymer, so you dont need wait drain the batt before charging... (unlike the old Ni-CD batts).
My p800 charges for around 1.5 hrs from a 5% battery level.
Charging your phone while turned off just charges it faster ( at least that's what i've noticed with mine.)
