got a 3gs 32gb and its on O2, whats best way to unlock it?

i have no idea if its payg or contract!

very probably, but all you have to do if you need to get warranty is a reload of the original firmware

turn the iphone off, hold the home button while connecting the USB cable and keep the home button pressed until you see the usb cable picture on your iphone

then it will restore you iphone with the latest standard firmware and the phone will no longer be jailbroken or locked

Did you try it? I am exploring about Cydia Aps now.....

I have not update my iPhone's firnware yet.. 3.1.2 has been available I think and I know I need to do that.

I willr ead back in the thread and search MacForums but are there any know issues with this update that esato members now about?

honestly, its a 2 minute job to jailbreak and unlock

just be aware that many, including me, lose wifi connectivity but all you need to do it go to settings > general > reset > reset network settings and reboot the phone and all should be well

Not all, but most, but don't worry, resetting network fixes it, mostly:P don't worry, if something happens, you can always go back to the original firmware and have it all back, so it's nothing to worry about
