At IFA, they will announce 3 models, Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, and XZ1 Ultra but Ultra is not 100% yet.
XZ1 & XZ1C release schedule will be similar to XZ & X Compact last year, but Ultra's release will be later, possibly end of year or beginning of 2018.
Ultra's size will be 6.2in
They all have S835, Ultra might have 4K display just like XZ premium but this is still tentative.

Thanks man! Keep us posted about MWC as well (when you'll have the info). I strongly hope for XZ1 Premium announcment @ MWC '18.

The only difference from previous reports is the XZ1 Ultra in place of the X1. This coincides with the latest news that Sony discontinues "Premium Standard" smartphones, like the Xperia X and X Compact. This sounds quite reasonable to me

The ABSOLUTE only thing that would make me hesitate getting the XZ Premium is a full on flagship Ultra with no compromises. And here we go with a rumor saying just that.
Of course you're a new user with no posting history, so I don't know how much I can trust what you say. Still the idea does make me hesitate, just a little. Still waiting on Canadian availability for the XZ Premium.

Too bad, I despise OLED screens. Each Galaxy screen (no matter how advanced) looks oversaturated and cheap. Hate OLED's with passion and would much rather settle for LCD flaws.
Will this 4K phone be introduced at IFA '17 or MWC '18?

It actually depends how manufacturers tune the colour of the screen. Lets hope sony does a better job with the colours.
