Maybe more XZ2P and XA2P situation? Only throw out a press in their website.
I don't think they will do it separately. XA3 will be MWC, XZ4 will be IFC I guess. Hope they aren't do it all in MWC.

IFA is too late for the next flagship. It has to be presented in the coming months, even if not in MWC.

Something went wrong here, like the XZ2 Premium debacle all over again. Now MWC with XA3, XA3 Ultra, L3, XZ4, XZ4 Compact? Bit much actually and not part of the plan at all. As you saw from the leaked video that the XZ4 is pretty much ready.

Which video are you talking about? The one by Ice Universe? It was just a model he made.. Using the protector..
Also.. I think I know where Sony is going with these phones.. They are going to pull something like the X series.. Gonna announce three phones at MWC.. With a new naming scheme.. XA3, XA3Plus and XZ4 but with different names.. L3 is gonna be announced later, simply press photos on website.. And the compact is gonna be region specific, so simply announce it at the regional press event.. Not announcing mid rangers at CES, even after them being ready for so long confirms the new naming scheme.. Maybe return of M, C. names?

Samsung usually has own events.
So far no words on LG G8 or any "V40s" ... They may wait few months again.
No leak about OP7, Mi9/"Mix3s" or U13.
Motorola G series event will probably be in Brazil again, only place Motorola is relevant today.
I don't remember how HMD presents their phones.
Oppo and Vivo rarely make flagships.
Only phones left are Sony and Huawei.

I wasn't aware of that video not being the XZ4 but it ticks a lot boxes based on prototypes. When you see a single feature put on many prototypes it means that it will make the final product. There are still some contentious issues like the XZ4 Compact but the XA3 looked like a finished item. When this type of thing happens it makes me think that they have last minute changes. I saw a very Xperia X Performance looking thing so that's what makes me wonder if there's been a change of heart somewhere. For me personally it looks like a do or die year, shitty phones this year and I see them not being able to recover. 5G is gone for Sony, others will have it first and the S10 Lite is going to kill off the Compact unfortunately so Premium or doom actually.

Yeah..I know there's nothing left to know the XZ4, design wise.. Dunno which x performance like device you are talking about.. 5g is not gone completely.. This new generation of devices for sony is surely gonna decide everything..

What do you mean by "5G is gone"?
Does it mean SONY won't release 5G phone this year?
