@Arne Anka: You are certainly right... Unfortunately...

But, who cares really? The SE K700 is probably more than good enough!

@brym!: I really hope that Eldar (Murtazin) is right this time too.

But, as I said, who cares really?

i really cannot wait for the k700 even if i am probably gonna go for the s700 . i think previously i was dissin the phone but seein real life pictures not just 'posed' pictures has made me changed my mind.

i do think however that the t650 is the k700

why would sony release two models that are relatively the same level?

well the two models are not going to be the same:
1. 6 months in between
2. price
3. features

you can look at it as nokia 6230 and 7250i....

Honestly, if SE releases the K700 comes with less than advertised 32mb free memory I'll rather wait for the Eldar's predicted T-series on the K700 platform. Afterall, the form of the T610 is still the most beautiful of SE models.

I'l be buying one SIM Free as soon as it's released if the price is reasonable, if not, I'll just wait a few weeks (hopefully less) to get it on contract.

I don't see the lack of Memory expansion as being an issue for the following reasons:

.01 The highest capacity memory cards at the moment are 1GB, and they are very expensive, if I were to use it for playing mp3's I could just go and buy an MP3 HDD player for the same price with 20 times the memory capacity.

.02 Even if I did get the 1GB memory card, the phone's battery would probably run out before I could play all the mp3's, or probably even half.

.03 The phone isn't Symbian, so the idea of having extra space for apps and stuff is irrelevant.

.04 I still don't feel that TFT screens of that resolution and size are good enough to make me want to watch movie clips such as short films or even movies. It's ok for capturing special moments... or funny events or whatever, but not for a feature length film, if you get what I mean.

.05 32MB is more than enough for a reasonable number of games, pictures, and short mp3 files for mp3 ringtones.

#Memzee

I totally agree

For those interested in more details about the phone - go read Bengalboys extensive review - he got hold of a productionmodel with 39 mb free space and posted lots of pictures and info about the phone. He will be posting a complete even more detailed review at the end of this week with lots of photos - and the K700 is even presented with a number of my K700 themes on it I might add

The review will answer about any question you may have on the K700.

Oh - the review is on an alternate forum called howards

Yeah, would be nice to see the k7 with a theme on it that aint already in it,cus the ones already in it are usually pretty shite
Maybe should employ RealSpawn to make the themes that come with the phone
