Well they should do something about it.
i can imagine people doing this: rotating... take a pic... rotate... check pic and send... *oh wait, that's a nice* rotate... take pic some more... rotate back... *sigh*

Wow... You're taking this way too seriously. I understand that you made a suggestion about the phone. I commented about how the suggestion wouldn't work.
You then made a sarcastic suggestion as well as adding words to other people's comments. I guess you felt offended about the comment and you had felt to make a rebuttal about it.
How about this. Get the phone when it's available, give us a review and let us know if you could take pics with the phone open.

From what i have seen, it appears video playback/capture does not utilise the full screen, only a tiny part, whereas the photo function (capture and playback) clearly does. Does anyone know more about this as if it is the case it will severley let down this excellent phone!
lets hope we can have full screen video playback!
If ur talking about PICT1906 and PICT1907 the screen isnt showing the video playback or capture. On my digital camera, when your scrolling through photos and movies stored on the card, the movies arent showed fullscreen. Theres a small picture in the middle of the screen of the start of the movie just so you can tell which movie it is...the rest of the screen is a blue background (in this case its black) with details of resolution and movie length . But once you select 'play' the picture expands and the movie is shown full screen.
Just shows how much like a digital camera this phone really is.
Cheers
EDIT: The photos im talking about are on this site:

@ roch
i hope youre right, looking closely at the photos it could appear that neither of the photos show the vidoe clips actually playing, rather wating for play to be pressed. As you say this would enable users to cycle through clips before deciding which one to play. Hopefully once playing it will be full screen - i have been reading bengalboys guide to ripping DVD's etc for watching on mobile phones and the s700 is crying out for this type of use as long as they give us full screen playback! if not what a wasted oppurtunity considering the size and quality of the screen when compared to other phones.

scrattyrat: i agree !
but how many mins of DVDRip can you store on (for example) 128 MS Duo?

@ intelegent115
From reading 'bengalboys bible: how to rip and encode DVD's for playback on your K700/S700&P900', which you can find by following the this link:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=61354#post798675
and which i highly recommend reading BTW, it would appear you can fit quite a lot on a 128meg MS DUO.
For instance, quoting from bengalboys guide: "reduced to a 93mb file that contains a 2 hour and 7 minute movie.... "
that movie was infact the matrix reloaded (used in bangalboys example), a 1.2gb DVD which when reduced to 98mg fits quite nicely on a MS DUO with enough spare for a good few mp3's!
