i agree, this would be considerable facilitation but J2ME don't have directly access rights to the driver files.
this may be possible if you have driver installed in folder created with patch 'movedrv_to_folder' or something like that (i'm not using it)

if you don't have Java on your PC goto http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp and download Java Runtime Environment (JRE) (6 Update 2)

no function is put on EV +1.3 and +1.7, that's why they aren't described

I'll tell u something like that.
Today i chanego my firmware z w800 r1bc001 to k750 r1bd001 adn have to say that photos with a4a 8.3 are much bettes. Scenery almost heve no noise. on days pst some photos when i done test

I still use 21.92 (without supermode). It is very comfortable to make fast (and sometimes spy) shoots without long preparation. My cam is set on MACRO. I just open the shutter, push ones zoom buton to get 1.1 (infinity) and yep all are ready to get sharp snap on distance more 2m.
Also i found that zoom 2.0 corresponds hyper focal distance for our cam (~2m) to get sharp snaps from 1m distance.
One thing i want - to disable zoom preview for manual focus mode. I have far sighted on my eyes and its useles for me. Of course i can put zoom preview X1 in driver for this mode but i want to DISABLE this function at all. Can you help?

Hi, I'm using Kriomag's 21.91 (latest?) drivers and I want to get the highest JPEG quality possible. In the readme I read it's set at 87%. Can this be upped, and if so, how? I can edit/update camdriver0.dat.

- ON/OFF zoom preview by clicking half-shutter with Focus to Infinity or Manual Focus
- Zoom preview disabled with autofocus

- SPOT for Zoom Preview is enabled
- press shutter to take picture with SPOT (very useful with macro shooting)
or
- click half-shutter again (the zoom will go off and SPOT will be disabled)
and now press shutter to take picture.

optimized for the W800-k750.. also works with W810 [CID 36 - CID 49].

HOW TO USE SuperFunction:

SuperFunction automatic always on.
Works in normal and fine mode.
Fine mode=improved Fine mode-enchanced ON.
Normal mode=Improved Fine mode-enchanced OFF(there is no Normal mode).

Set the EV setting using joystick then
use the Zoom keys to change the value.
You can see the changes in the viewfinder preview.

Also you can use the SuperFunction driver as simply driver.

-2.0: scene (1.1 Portrait-1.2 Landscape-1.3 Twilight Portrait-1.4 Twilight Landscape- 1.5 Sports-1.6 Beach/Snow-1.7Document)

-1.7: SPOT photometry (1.0 off 1.1 on)

-1.3: EFFECTS(black & white,solarize,negative,sepia)

-1.0: ZOOM

-0.7: BRIGHTNESS

-0.3: NORMAL WHITE BALANCE

0.0: FOCUS (1.0 is auto,1.1 infinite / 1.2 half press shuter manual focus 1.3-4.0 )

+0.3: EXPOSURE(decrease/increase 1.1- 2.0 Normal -3.5)

+0.7: SHUTTER SPEED(1.1-4.0 increase/ decrease speed viewfinder preview)

+1.0: SATURATION manual (1.1 default 1.2-4.0 decrease/increase)

+1.3: WHITE BALANCE BLUE(1.1-4.0 add blue)

+1.7: WHITE BALANCE WELLOW(1.1-4.0 add yellow)

+2.0: WHITE BALANCE GREEN-RED(1.1-2.5 add green 2.5-4.0 add red)

The driver has manualy lock/unlock exposure
is usefully when takes photos indoors and some outdoors to avoid high overexprosure
works only in infinite mode (EV 0.0 +/- zoom 1.1)move the camera to get the desired light press half shot and hold it to lock exprosure then move the camera to the object and take the photo.

The driver has customize fanctions if you want
open the camdriver0.dat with notepad and see the
first codes if you wish can change the default
SHARPNESS-SATURATION-BRIGHTNESS-CONTRAST-EXPOSURE-SHUTTER SPEED(for led only)-NORMAL SPEED
and ENCHANCED NIGHT SPEED.

ALSO YOU CAN ADD OR REMOVE OR CHANGE
POSITION FUNCTIONS IN CUSTOMIZE FUNCTIONS MENU
in camdriver0.dat
(There is manualISO-Contrast-Bilinear Filtre).

TIPS:
For Nightsthots better use manual Speed Shot is faster than Nightmode.

In good daylight outdoor shots use Normal mode.

In low Light conditions and indoors shots use Enchanced mode.

Always use manual White Balance function for better results.

Small bug in Config Tool - when you set Exposure to a negative value, for example -0.3, then save the driver and open it again, the tool says +0.3.
