Sounds awesome. If the Ray3 has that 4.35 inch 1080p display (with whitemagic 2000:1 contrast and 178degree viewing angles), then it will be mine.

It has a 720p display, not 1080p
Was thinking the same thing, but yes on 4.3" 720p is enought and might be smoother than a 1080p screen, but when plugin phone to tv, display will not be the same
But that convince me, thanks for this random, if ray 3 really have same camera as honami with xenon flash, and S800 and 4.3", I think I'll choose this one rather than Honami

The Ray definitely does sound great in this respect, but personally I can't wait all the way until December as I'll be getting my next phone in September

I've always noticed this since I've seen a lot of hands-on videos of the Xperia L and SP. The Xperia L has a black background on its on-screen buttons, as opposed to SP, Z and ZL. Added to the settings or its really there for the Xperia L? Devs finally realized that grayish UI sucked, but they only had time to fix Xperia L's?

As I've said, I've seen a lot of those hands-on videos and I know the Xperia L does have that black background.

I think we're not prohibited here to discuss other topics as long as it doesn't violate forum rules or take a lot of pages of discussion. Besides, it was a general inquiry for the 2013 Xperias anyway. Chill out.

Interesting news on a slow day. Today Sony launched the worlds fastest internet service for commercial use in Japan under the So-Net brand they became full owners of recently.

http://www.theverge.com/2013/[....]-download-internet-tokyo-japan

2 gbps download, 1 gbps upload and all for about $51/month. There's a few hundred dollar initial fee, but they seem to be waiving it for online subscribers now. Twice the speed of Google Fiber for less cost.

I know it's wishful thinking, but it'd be AMAZING to see Sony expand this out to other countries and continents. I'm here in Toronto and I'd dump Rogers and my 50 mbps package in a heartbeat for this.

Samsung is under investigation by Taiwanese authorities over allegations that it used deceptive advertising practices in the country, the AFP reports. The company reportedly hired students to write negative remarks online about HTC and to post promotional content for itself

Hey, I'm an optimist

Think about it though... Sony has huge plans for cloud based gaming and 4k content. What's the best way to push such a thing when the vast bulk of the world doesn't have the network infrastructure to support it? Why it's simple! You provide the infrastructure, make $$$ from it, and also $$$ from the content! Bloody genius!

I dream of a day when Sony is the worlds first global ISP Or at the very least partners with Google to get this shit really going.
