Congratulations, Woohoo!

Ja, I know, woo hoo! Thread seemed to jump at least 10,000 views last night No doubt thanks to another engadget mention again and the announcement

@n3o
It's fake - and an awful attempt I might add.

@zisis
1. When is redesigned K850 will be announced and released?
Expect to wait a little. The K850 hasn't even been released yet, so I wouldn't really expect an announcement or release until next year.
2. Mooi will be touchscreen only or keypad also?
I don't know, but as it is a direct answer to the iPhone, maybe it'll have no keypad.
3. When will P3 be released? 2nd quartes of 2008?
I'd expect

@kreacher
Don't know about sensor, but I'd expect more of a K800>K810 transition rather than a huge leap in image quality.

@gauravsali
I doubt that SE would announce a better phone than the until the W960 comes out and establishes itself. It's the top of the line

@EMS06
No idea about materials, but I don't think SE would use metal in the P1 and not use some metal in the P3.

Moving on...

The last announcement was a let down for me. I expected Victoria to be higher end, but we got a mid range phone. But it does fit nicely into the portfolio. Still a little bugged by the screens which seem to be getting smaller.

Next year's Mooi to me seems like the biggest product from SE. A direct response to the iPhone indicates that the UIQ interface will have a spinoff which is able to be controlled by fingers and won't require a stylus anymore (so no more small menu elements).

The K770 could actually be a K610 successor in a way. It's an upgrade in every aspect.
And I gree about this announcement being a dissapointment. We need more formfactors with 3.2MP cameras.
If they could make the T650/K770 screen a little bigger 2~2.1" and make it a little shorter we could have a W810 successor.

I'm a little bit confused (I think the first post needs some updates)

Isn't Mooi the W960? Will the successor of W960 be the competitor of iPhone, or will they market W960 as it? When should expect the release of W960?

shouldn't the iphone competitor have a finger-based UI

The w960 is a 'finger-based UI'. Its designed to do the same as the iphone exept that the video reviews show that it does not respond as the iphone. but hey, its a preproduction model.

I thought it was only the music player not the whole UI, anyway the display is still small for finger management imo.
