I'm suspicious that the update to 2.1 will utilise the recent 026 firmware. If so then those plagued with battery problems will likely have much of the same following the UI update.
If course, should there be an associated update to the phone's firmware too then nothing to worry about. Trouble is, I haven't seen anything to suggest this.....

@ >500 That must just be for AU thought right? Spainish and UK

reps have both said end of September and the

blogs have said it'll start a little before the original estimation of Q4 which means end of September. How did you contact the rep?

This allows you to manage your phones Apps on your PC really easily.
To my best knowledge this only works with apps downloaded through appbrain. Apps installed from other places outside the Market can not be managed that way.

@Ricky
Had a chat face to face.
Perhaps for AU only, but being an Android device, you would think they would roll out all of them very quickly, not 1+ month apart! Aus delivered x10's have been updated fairly quickly here, pretty much same time as you guys, well, for a couple networks stock anyway
Didnt go into anymore details, as I had more faith in the UK/Spanish SE teams over this rep
Time will tell hey...

@goldenface I'll have a look at it, thanks. Just found out Shoot U! and Blow up! are free now for the full versions. Awesome.
Excellent, two of my favourites.

Hi everyone,
I need help with my friends X10.
We set up a gmail address for her, when she got the phone -->
first@gmail.com but she didn't like that address so she never used it. That address was registered with the phone by going to the mobile section of the googlemail site, and sending a text to the phone.
I have since deleted this account from her phone... the reason being she set up a new address ->
second@gmail.com but it seems she played around with that a bit, trying to synch emails etc
This
second@gmail.com account still appears on her phone because when I look for synchronisation, and look at google, I can see it in a panel. This phone is set up for
second@gmail.com.
She decided to set up a third address, yes, we are going to call that
third@gmail.com.
She has set up this address on the PC,. and sends her hotmail and other emails to it. We can see on the PC that emails have indeed been moved to the gmail account.
We do not seem to be able to synchronise the
third@gmail.com mail, calendar and contacts with her X10. If I click on the account, I can check mail, calendar and contacts but despite seeing some activity with a synchronisation icon, nothing synchs!
I have also cleared the data from apps ->? google apps.
Any advice? I will meet her tomorrow and will ask her to show me her phone again.
I wonder whether we should delete all email accounts and reinstall.
I don't want to do a factory reset and start again.

The only way I got my X10 to forget about my old details etc and sync properly etc was to factory reset. It shouldn't be the way it has to be but it's the most fail safe way to ensure you're flat on
third@gmail.com.
If the phone is syncing correctly with
second@gmail.com, your friend doesn't mind doing it this way and you really can't bothered with a factory reset, you can log into
second@gmail.com from a PC and setup
third@gmail.com as a pop account from there (or a forward from
third@gmail.com). You can also setup it up to send out as
third@gmail.com in the settings and share calendars from
third@gmail.com to
second@gmail.com so they all sync in with the phone. Actually, this may not be a terrible idea as it will help you control exactly what is and what isn't shared to the phone, although it is a sligfhtly more complex way to go about it.
Else you can play around in the settings deleting accounts and rebooting in the hope something happens that makes it work. Just remember the 'Email' app and 'Google Mail' app worked indepentantly. Google Mail, Google Talk, the Market, Calendar and the sync in the settings all run off one login and the 'Email' app is for Timescape and basically not much else. At least that's the way I've fount it to work.
Let us know how it goes.

Just an update on the charging problem. I've found the phone cuts off the charging circuit at 95%. Doesn't kick back in either at 85% but have not let it go any lower.
So it looks like i only get 95% maximum out of my battery.
Should i be asking o2 to replace the battery/phone or get them to replace everything?
My 14 day cooling off period finishes this week so need to sort something out soon.
