The HTC Desire HD kills the X10

To be honest, I'd expect it to. It's being released more than 6 months after the X10. The world moves on and progresses, X10 isn't actually far behind, same processor, competitive software (after the 2.1 update) and it looks better. The HTC phones are plain ugly at the back.

It's like a cute face with a cellulite ridden ass who can do her 12 times tables or a supermodel who can only do up her 11s but is learning her 12s, which would you choose?

LMFAO

Btw, CPUs are different, the 3D hardware in the Desire HD is faster

I do not have any problems with face recognition in my X10 does after the 026 update. No names lost. I like this feature a lot as you can view all pics of that person using the phonebook listings. I do however lose the album art from time to time...

I think your find the HTC Desire HD already knows the 12's while the X10 requires special needs even at an old age.

The X10 is also a cheap plastic piece of crap

I know which one I'd rather have

Have just got home after a long day being wound up. Also had chance to visit my local o2 store which was the cause of most of my stress and being wound up.
Took my X10 into the store (phoned in advance) and explained again what had been happening. Was basically called a liar and I had to wait while the store manager (Eddie, Newcastle Under Lyme O2 Store) took my phones box contents apart and asked why I hadn't used the packaged charger (I already have 3 EP700 Chargers so why should I ??). After explaining why he then turned around and blamed my chargers and my chargers were probably a lower rating (WTF!!!! they're exactly the same item). I basically told him politely to stop being a muppet and to help rectify the problem.
He then decided to put my phone on charge using the charger out of my phones box and using a battery out of a new X10 (he put my old battery in the new X10's box and resealed it )
After 45 minutes wait he decided to come over and bought my phone and charger to me and said "its taking too long. You might as well take it home with you and do it yourself". I said ok and then told him I needed my tariff sorting out cos the salesperson had removed my data plan when they shouldn't have and I've been charged £1 a day for internet usage (£10 current total charges). I wanted the data plan putting back onto my phone and the charges wiped as I shouldn't have to pay them (I've now had to pay an additional £5 a month now for 500mb data due to them removing my previous unlimited data plan which is no longer available). He reluctantly did what I asked and then walked away to someone else so we just got up and walked out of the store.
Anyway. I've now charged the new battery and it charges to 99% then cuts the charging circuit off. When the phone drops to 95% the charging circuit kicks back in. It looks like it was the battery that was at fault. Am so glad I don't have to make another trip to the store and come March 2012 I'll be either cancelling or doing my upgrade online.

Hopefully I wont have anymore problems with the phone.
