I just purchased a p990i and live in the U.S. using the T-Mobile network. When I try to update my software it keeps giving me
Phone:R9ea001
Bluetooth:R5a01
Organizer:R4a13
CDA:R4a04
Can someone please tell me how to update to the new firmware

I just updated my EMMA 3 today and users in Singapore with CDA /8 (with Chinese input) can now upgrade their P990 to R5A17. At least they can if they bring the unit to an authorized Sony Ericsson service center. I do not know the status of SEUS as I do not use SEUS myself.

I am still running Organizer R2A05, sigh. I am so close to just change CDA with KulanKendi now. But I am going to Hong Kong this summer (in two months), maybe I should wait until then.
By the way, even though I am running R2A05, my phone doesn't really crash and that's why I am able to stand it still.

my P990 works fine with my M5 E60 BT kit, so it should certainly work with the E46 too! It now even syncs the phonebook in phonememory, before it only took the SIM phonebook, so it is very perfect now!
Biggest change with previous firm is now the white progress bar when starting the phone! Plus some gfx being altered, but it is still not sooo fast as some claim IMHO
I did update my P990 (BELGIAN CDA) early may and it has now CDA R6A01, which is not yet updated on the

Just update my P990 with KK, since my CDA (Germany Generic) was taking for ever and I think I uncover another bug. Can anyone test if it happens only to me?
I didn’t do a restore from a previous backup, so it was a clean phone all the way from SEUS.
I have a pre-paid card, and I have few phone numbers (codes) to access to directly to my operator (Vodafone), to check the amount of €€€ that’s in the card (*#100#), and when is due to do another money reinforce of €€€ (*#101#).
If I deal them from deal screen it accesses to my operator with no problem.
If go from the phone book, (I have them store there), it starts, stops, and them jumps to the deal screen, and just stays there.
With the R4B03 it worked ok, with the latest (R5A17), it doesn’t, at least with me.
