No increase in burst radius?!?

Xumedo, could you possibly do a test of the flash potency and see if they increased the functionality of this? I hope the flash becomes more powerful, because there were many instances where it simply wasn't adequate in the 790/800...

We shouldn't discuss those kind of things before the release. They still have time to change things so it can turn out that the final version will be different from the prototype because who said that the final version must be identical to the prototype.

regardless, its something we should keep our eyes out for when it does hit the market. An increased flash burst was one of the top 5 improvements I was looking for in the successor...

Do you know if i can put a 2GB microSD/Transflash Sandisk on the fone ?cuz on se.com says that it's limited to 1GB but M2,not microSD.

On the white paper it says supported up till 4Gb. Maybe in real life we can support even more just like the K750 example.

Combo reader
The extra memory slot supports memory cards up to 4 GB. Different kinds of content (pictures, audio, video clips, etc.) can be stored on memory cards, and transferred to other memory cards – compatible consumer products, for example Sony digital cameras, camcorders, portable music players, TVs, photo printers and computers.

Aham 4GB,but on the site(SE)says 1GB of M2,nothing else about microSD.
I say this because i will buy a Nokia 6110Navigator and also a microSD with 2GB.Do you know which is better...microSDNokia/microSDSandisk? or M2Sony/M2Sandisk ?Some people say the one from the initial brand other from Sandisk.

should we open a different thread for i-mobile 902 cam vs k850?

make sure that u put i-mobile in the title, otherwise people will be bumping around with sharp 902, and the entire NTT DoCoMo 902i/S series

maybe we should wait until there are some actual non-prototype photos from the 850i before we begin comparing it

Eldar said something in that preview not to expect the cam quality to improve?

bav, im sorry but stop instigating ... we all know that youre baiting some of these respondents. nothing is set in stone, heck for all we know everything could be taken out of the phone and it could be a fw upgrade away from a k810, or they could now be working very hard to make sure its the best product that they want on the market. word of mouth is still the best advertising method out there, and what better way to advert than an incredible telecommunication device?

you should actually hope that the put the best phone they can out instead of spreading illegitimate facts around, b.c if SE pushes then nokia pushes and we all get better phones in the end.

heres hoping that the hammer doesnt fall ... and that we can get a significant boost in stability (ie not like the videos) in this new device. ... and wifi

The finished product will reflect the marketing of the company. Its the reason why K850 didnt get VGA recording when its capable of it, and why the camera quality isnt going to change much from K810 because as many have said, N95 cam quality isnt much better and in some cases WORSE than K810. Until they have a better competition in cam quality will they improve.

It saves them alot of work too id imagine, just changing a few things here and there, instead of a whole new expensive and quality cam module which isnt needed as the competition is only equal to or just missing out to its current camera on the market already.

I only hope nokia give SE a run for its money with the rumoured N82, so we get better cam quality...

For K850 camera, SE is working with the same physical limitations (lens size/cmos) that Nokia did with N95. At best, K850 camera will equal or slightly better than N95 (just like K800/N73 case). Like Eldars said, "dont expect too much improvement"
