John, that isnt possible. However, you can make your own ringtone and then just have it played twice. Just record the sound, leave a pause, then record the sound again.

Hi,

Got fed up waiting for SE to announce a phone that made me really excited so just bought a new w890 on ebay(sim free unbranded) for £145 inc p&p. It looks like a good deal to me. Have I bought a good phone? and is it a good deal? I've had a look at this thread and the comments seem to be mixed.

Been waiting for this phone to be released for a while, but just read a review in "What Mobile" which was mostly good but commented on the phone been slightly slow to respond, and also having a poor speaker.

Noticed the lcd flickering on the top which got me worried but seems ok atm.

My w890i flickers too, it's only noticeable on the lighter themes so on the walkman theme you can't see it but on almost if not all others you can which isn't very good.

Have you fixed the problem or know the cause?

@Alye

I've only had the phone for just under two days so can't comment on how good a phone it is right now but so far, so good.

On the deal though, a sim free unbranded w890 for £145 is a great price. You won't get any cheaper than ebay but your always taking a risk there but it can save you money as you have.

Yes you can set a specific tone to each contact including video's but I don't think you can have no tone selected just for one person. You either have to select a tone or the standard tone will go. The only work around would be to have an audio file with no sound.

just got myself a Mocha Brown unit, it's beee-uuu-tiful!
To all potential buyers out there, see the phone in the flesh before buying cos i thought i would get the silver, till i saw the Mocha, which is actually metallic deep purple, so it looks great!

the black is IMHO, just too black, at least the W880i had a two-tone black/orange scheme

@iwantin

I too was going to get the silver but it's going to be the most common imo and I like to be a little different. I went for the espresso black version as it was similar to the w810 version and it looks great.
