my w910i did something like this (though worse- w910i equivalent of the BROD) however if it is playing up like it is then there are three things that i can think of. you could see if it is the Sim card that is at error - try a different Sim and see how it goes. otherwise you would need to re flash the whole system. so that would be using a client like davinci team to flash the system, or depart with your phone for about 2 weeks for repair.
if you do chose to flash yourself- which takes like 10 min then it is eliminating the warranty,
good luck.

Odd, my software is the latest version but hsdpa is not visible. Only gsm and 3g.
How can you tell if you are using hsdpa or just 3g?

@Oblivion
Thanks for the suggestions mate. I just tried a new sim and nothing. I have no idea how to flash a phone, and knowing me, i'd balls it up even more! I'm getting the Mrs to take it to a phone shop tomorrow to see what they have to say.
Hopefully, it'll be sorted soon. Suggestions are still welcome though!
Thanks

I recall the W910i suffering from the same video playback issues as the K850i, has this since been fixed?
By Issue, I mean the video/audio lag...as the W890i suffers from it too...

@Hanzo
You mean that you don’t see the [H] icon in your display?
The answer I got from SE was that there is a signal in the 3G net that triggers the [H] icon and not all operators sends this signal. I saw the [H] when I was in Germany but so far never in Sweden (Telia) I only se the [3G] icon even that I am (to my knowledge) in a HSDPA zone.
Question:
I use firmware R1FA030. On two occasions I have had the message No Network Access (or equivalent) in the display. Other 3G phones with same operator had no problems at the time. I waited for an hour but the only way to get connected again was to reboot the phone. Has anyone else experienced this?

Superleeds, I know where your coming from with the battery issues. A few pages back on this forum I talked about massive massive battery drain on R1EA030 (lasting around 3 days tops, losing 10% every 8 hours while on standby), while there are others that said their battery is just fine with the same firmware. After I upgraded to R1EA033 the battery life on my w910i improved dramatically (getting 5 days easy and losing only 5% on standby).
I believe SE will soon release another firmware, maybed called R1FA033 or something similar to adjust the battery life. There seem to be either hardware differences or different ways our w910i reacts to the firmware based on which region your handset belong to.
Best of luck to you Superleeds. Reading the past few pages has been a rollercoaster ride with the reboots, hangs, and other problems. Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences with us less adventurous folks
To: Silver -- Did you upgrade to R1FA030? We got the same CDA number, if you are reading and you upgraded fill me in ! Thanks
