Confirmed available for Generic sim free UK models. File size is 169mb

Android version 2.3.4
Baseband 8x55A-AAABQOAZM-203028D-64
Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf
SEMCUser@SEMCHost#1
Build number 4.0.2.A.0.62

I chose to just update instead of update and reset as I've got too much to reinstall and not a lot of time. When I get more time I'll be doing a complete update and reset.

Cant see anything different from just a quick look as my battery has nearly had it and needs charging. Perhaps just some background system update ???

Edit
One thing I have noticed is that the phone seems quite a lot quicker accessing and scrolling through items. Could be just me though with it being an update. It might have cleared a few things out. However. Its much faster than before.Previously my Ray was really slow and unresponsive.

Forgot where I read this but apparently this update one of the fixes is better memory management. I noticed I had more ram than usual too.

Definitely noticed a speed improvement. And as for better memory management well it does seem so as in standby with normal back ground stuff running I had 208mb ram free. Before it hovered around 179 down to 150mb ram.

The amount of free ram on standby is much more now from before.

Looks like this version cannot be (easily) rooted any more. Since I removed a lot of crap stock apps and autostart services (facebook, TimeScape, Twitter etc.) my Ray is very fast and stable and I like to keep it that way. As I also have around 205mb RAM free in standby, I don't see any advantage for me.

So I think I'll wait until ICS arrives and then have a look...

How do you manage to get that amount of free memory? On my Ray, the free memory is around 75-85 MB
