why would u want to go back anyway? that's y they put out new SW versions in the first place, to make the old ones obsolete... =)

@ nookie, I guess if there are terrible bugs in the new version or certain conflicts w/ ur headset or some other accessory then I'd probably downgrade to my earlier sw..I did read some post here in esato that its possible to downgrade in other countries (dont know here in Pinas if it's possible.)

I FOUND A NEW BUG IN R5A020
when i get a MMS and after i read it and try to "replay all"
just for a second apears a pop up window "delete msg?"
but then it desappears again withouth deleting the MMS

actually i went to semicon and they have the R5A...SW but they were advice not to use it for now as there are some issues and problems...

i went to semicon podium last time and they say that semicon in Marcos H-way do the unlocking...but wen i call them they say that they dont do that...
baka may nagpa-openline n sa inyo dyan....tell me pls..wer and does it cost you much ???

in the light of downgrading, for devices, it is possible to downgrade. this provision is only applicable if the upgrade system of previous version that you want to downgrade to is the same as that of the current. in simple engilsh, if both the versions uses the same system to upgrade then it is possible. invassive upgrade are the one that can not be reverted. invassive upgrades are thosethat destroys ROM mapping, different addressing (for POST, Diags and donlader) and diffrent reset vector.
