@ kryptik, must say, those were funny...especially the first one...i might relate! lol! But most of them are actually more related to nerds...geeks seem to keep a weird balance...it looks bad, but is actually a more healthy balance, in a weird sense once again.
Geek girls: read an article about that: was quite on the mark with a lot of bits....Forgot where it was, but the main bits was that they are intelligent girls, they are still girls(make up and all that) but they are interresting. You can talk to them about things like world politics, about technology, about books, about anything, and it would end up in a good conversation.
Remember, geeks are not just related to computers....
But yeah.
My interrests and hobbies, if I forgot to post them (I forgot if I did):
1. Music (I am a music Geek!lol!) Will not go into this in too much detail, as my MySpace site will be up for that within the next month...you can go find out more there. But for the record, I play Bass Guitar and Guitar. Want to learn piano, but I have been on stage in front of 1000 people playing keyboard once...don't ask..)
2. Computers & Tech....(Phone is included in this)
- Music production (My priority at the moment)
- Graphic Design
- Video Editing
- Internet Technologies
- Lots More (can't think now)
3. Reading (No time for it though)
4. Film, and here lots of different parts of it, including sound tracks (I LOVE to make this type of thing) Cinematography, Camera Techniques, Production, Post Production, special effects...All round...
5. Kids, I love working with kids (not too much though) I used to facilitate camps, and I loved it! I enjoy being out in nature, and connecting with young people, all ages, younger is just easier for me. One day I hope to get involved with this again.
6. Politics and world happenings...But not too much...
There is more, but I got to go...

I love the one about the full stop after the quotation marks. Its so true...
Im from stellenbosch. Studying. Who am i, i dont know, havent figured that out! Hobbies are writing, drawing, playstation, sex. I have a big problem with girls who refuse to discuss masturbation as its a great conversation opener. I suppose im a little socially incorrect at times. Thats me in a nutshell;)

Everyone notice that of late Esato has become one massive rumour mill, I'm referring to the most recent one about

perhaps introducing PlayStation branded phones and a couple of days ago there was one about

possibly using the Wega brand on their phones...we're yet to see Handycam being introduced.
My opinion would be that Sony should stick to it's brand and not have them pollute an already bug-filled mobile phone market.
@psychonymph: What's with women and masturbation? Are you a Matie?
EDIT: Just noticed eight people are viewing this thread. Do we actually have eight regular posters?

@ psycho, whats with the world and the whole 'finding yourself' thing? It is as if it has become fashion these days. I mean, we all are trying to find ourselves, but yeah, i always think it is something that just kind of happens as life goes on, and never really stops. Kind of that if you have found yourself, is there a reason to go on? Nothing new to live for. Oh yeah- just for interrest sake, when i ask such questions, i ask myself as much as i ask you. I find that i challenge myself on a few levels when i go into such things.
So i am waiting for a friend, she needs to talk. Her life is falling apart again. Also an artist in a few ways, excellent vocalist, won some big competition a few years back. She is bi-polar, very emotional. Going to be a long night, but it will be good. For now i will try to play this jolly guitar riff smoothly.
My question to all: what is your favourite shows, movies, radio plays, games, books and stuff like that?

My favourite book: It's probably Animal Farm. As you can see I love politics and the effect it has on human relations.
Movie: Recent favourites include Lord of War, Inside Man, Crash...there's a lot though.
Radio Play: ?
Games: Metal Gear Solid

Oh yeah, i forgot, the rest of my hobbies: i consider myself an alternative artist. What i mean with that is part of what i already said, music, film, but added to that is photography, a little writing( want to expand on that quite a bit) and odd stuff like that. And one of my weirder hobbies is smoking hubbly bubbly, and get this, building my own hubblies. Built a few already, and they smoke much nicer than bought hubblies. But anyway, this is a dying hobby.

@ brix, that was a great book. I was discussing that with a guy on saturday, despite quite the big language gap we discussed the scene where the drunk pig adds the 'in moderation' bit to to the no alcohol commandment. Got a picture to post concerning this sometime. Have you read 1984? That was harsh, but brilliant...
My stuff:
Movie: Shawshank redemption. Got few favourites, but this one stands tall.
Radio plays: loved hitchikers guide to the galaxy. Made a few years before i was born.
Books: weird selection. To kill a mocking bird, Redeeming Love, 1984, lord of the rings, the hobbit, the silmarillion, kringe in n bos(despite my dislike of my native tongue) narnia series.
Shows: Monty python flying circus and also the movies. Frasier, Seinfeld, black adder, smallville, 70s show, little britain(yes, i am into mindless comedy aswell!) My family, but the first few seasons.
Games: fallout. What a brilliant game. Reminds me a little of the end of terminator3 and mad max.

@francoislr: Didn't catch much Monty Python on tv but I certainly enjoyed The Life of Brian.
Do let the Freedom Front Plus hear that you don't like reading Afrikaans...they might just put out a fatwa, or whatever the Afrikaans version of it is, against you for "volk skending"
