I think the wi-fi 'problem' you're referring to is the fact that when the phone goes to sleep it disconnects from the wifi right? I'm pretty sure this is a battery saving feature, but an option in the menu to 'keep connection alive' would be handy, but as far as I'm aware that's something that's the problem with android inherently rather than SE messing up the stock OS.

The wifi issue is a well known problem with the Sony Ericsson X10 since the initial firmware update from release. It's nothing to do with going into sleep mode it happens when in use.

Heres a video posted by another X10 user showing loss of wifi connection when completely in wifi range, thats crap and still not fixed.

In iPhone 4 you shoudn't hold your phone in your hand while you're talking, because you might loose signal, hence you can't make a normal phone call, and now you're worried about some wifi-problem in x10...

No noticeable wifi problems here, seems to work without a hitch for me as it has always been reliable

And you think I'm damn stupid, and I had not known that? Come on, you can't be that shallow-brained...

I tried to bring you back to the reality, that wifi problem isn't deal-breaker, or if so, why on earth do people still buy iPhone 4, since its problems are miles heavier?

Everyone knows people buy iPhones because they are brand retarded imbeciles. Are you saying people should buy Sony Ericsson even though the faults and old Android version and be happy with it?

That does actually make you a brand retarded imbecile then doesn't it.

I think the wifi problem is not X10 problem but individual phone problem (defects). If it is a problem for x10, why not everybody having it ?

I keep my wifi, gps, 3G and bluetooth on all the time. The GPS is use for weather updates. But the wifi and 3G connectivity is interchangeable depending on coverage area and wifi will be higher priority.
