Okay, what was that? I was not on the site for an hour, and then part of my post from yesterday just postted itself...strange stuff...it is edited out now, to save us from confusion...
@ Brix, I have only used the default browser and always use Opera. I removed the newest version of Opera as it was not working, and re-installed it. The problem, I have all my bookmarks in the Opera 1.2 Russian Cracked Version I am using. Got some neat little utilities, but Version 2 works smoother, but lacks all the russian additions of file explorer, tabbed browsing, and the little "nuke launch' button should be in the next version along with the Movie Money Transfer Counter, you know, those that roll up to the amount whoever is paying to the bad guys...(Someone has to tell these people that it does not count up....) lol!
@ Brix, I enjoy posting from my phone. I get to sit outside and watch the night while writing these posts...During the day I post from a computer though. Keyboard Advantage. Still, I want to be able to use more characters when I post...I think that is why I have been using the Cracked Opera, more characters than the normal one....

Eish, someday i'll get around to posting from a pc, just so that i can understand what you guys are talking about. Had a very pleasant email this morning from a gentleman who had auctioned some new 512mb memory cards. Turns out that his stock of the above has been depleted, so a new 1gb mmc is winging its way to me, even as we speak, despite my protests that i'd be content to wait until he had received new stock. Not often that one comes across such a level of customer service...

@da krypsta: It's a total joy posting from PC...As you know the keypad on the N70 is so tiny, posting anything onto the net is taxing.
One question before I go...to anyone using Windows Movie Maker...can I import mp4 files direct from my phone to the programme? When I import them through the Nokia video application it converts the files to 3gp which is pretty useless when you're going to playback the video on a DVD.

lol Brix, i've got edgumacated fingers

The tiny keypad on Symbian phones is daunting at first, but with practice it becomes easy... Relatively speaking, of course.

Well i love posting from the pc as it is faster. 2 years back when mtn had free wap i would never have dreamt that i would preffer the pc.
Anyway, i got my sony k700 when they came out, almost 3 years(?) back. And it still serves its purpose.
I am now looking to get a data cable for it, so that i can use it to permanently connect my work pc to the internet via virgin.
Anyone got an idea where and at what cost i can get one?

edgumacated...WTF? I know you're a teacher and I'm a journalist but there's no way I'm grabbing a dictionary to decipher that Greek.
I suppose I've become used to the small keypad on the N70 but it's really a pain. I'm looking at it right now and can't think of any reason the keys could not have been larger. I mean that key with a pencil is wasted as I hardly use it, same goes for the "C" key when the soft keys at the top would've sufficed, also the "Multimedia" key is wasted- why do I need a gallery key when I simply choose a shortcut on my D-pad to access my media.
Overall the designers at Nokia need to go back to school because ergonimically this phone is a disaster. They should re-design the keypad. Speaking of which, I've not had any problems with the phone of late- dropped calls and white screens.

I get a lot of nokias coming through my office such as the n series and 6xxx series. All of which I have come to a thorough dislike of. But hey...
Last I saw a data cable cost about R500. Just not worth it for me.

The one advantage of Nokia bringing out so many phones is that most people are covered by the different ranges. Problem with that is, they are commercial sh!te....
yawn...Boredom strikes, but I will post this and try to not say too much more....
