@kk.226 and ThreeX

well, you might be right, I dunno

I think part of me getting rid of this one was the realisation to make a quick buck knowing I could get another for the same price I paid

we'll see

stick with the V3 masseur, jsut think how cool your star tac still looks to this very day, an 8800 in a few years will just be wrong, and scratched to buggery!

im singing motos praises here as i love my V3i, soo dinky yet just magical.

V3 masseur!

What i want to know (i am planning to buy a V3i myself) is:
You were disappointed because it didnīt live up to your expectations *perhaps you assumed it would be a big step up from original V3*
Or were you disappointed because it was a bad phone?
Most people i know are disappointed in the W900 simply because they expected more (miracles iīd say) considering the massive Sakura hype and all.

yeah, perhaps I expected more. Video recording is fine but you can get that in the V3 these days so really all it had going for it was the higher res camera and the memory slot whereas I really didn't like the colour or the feel. The silver V3 feels so much better in the hand.

I guess this is more or less a repeat of my RAZR V3i first impressions

edit: btw, I also tried the V3i a second time too (I must be a fussy git!)

Yes you are..

I think i will be happy with it then as i find the gunmetal finish at least as appealing as the original silver one. What i appreciate, (i donīt give a flying *about camera and video) is the reportedly slightly better display(s) and better phonebook according to Eldarīs review.

right, I've decided to get another and this time I will keep it no matter what.

it seems when I don't have it, I miss it, so I guess that answers the question though for the life of me I don't know why!

nah, I still keep coming back to my original V3 in preference to the 8800 for my "style phone"... there's just something about it!

I hate to say it but...
