Just had my W900i returned because of a speaker fault. Software updated to R5AG. It was R5AF when i submitted it to them. When i rang to enquire how long they would have my handset i asked what the latest software/firmware version was available and they told me R5AG. I asked about R5BB and they said it is not yet available. Not sure what to beleive now!?

Not sure why everyone wants R5BB, it's not like it changes anything particularly useful that anyone's noticed. I'd rather a newer one that speeds up the interface, reduces crashing or enables 3G disabling.

i can disable 3g? or at least choose only to use the gsm net, if that is what you mean
i got the RBB001 and could use gsm only in my last firmware too
bought in sweden unbraded ofcourse.

I'm running R5AF001 unbranded and there's no GSM/3G option anywhere I can find. If R5BB has it, then I'll upgrade asap, otherwise I'll wait until SEUS has a new version.

I'm on R5AF001 and I have the option to disable 3G to choose only GSM. Hmm...
I want R5BB001 as I want multiple character phone book search which I've gotten used to on R1AA008 on the K750i.

menu>settings>mobile networks>gsm/3G networks (and here i can chose wich i prefer)
i guess you did know that already but maybe it will help anyway
