No man.... u know its wrong.... u know we are like this... so why do it?? why do something that can cause massacre... its simple as that... freedom of expression is one thing, however theres also this thing called repecting and u know Islam is very sensitive regarding our religion.. so dont to it.. why do these people play with fire, when they know its going to hurt.

while i agree with some of what your saying one bit sticks out to me"why do something that can cause massacre"
so why walk the streets of london dressed in a ski mask (if you believe in what your saying why hide your face) or dressed as a sucide bomber saying that 9/11 is coming to england etc.
surely this can cause a massacre and also isnt really very islamic at the same time, nor does it paint a pretty picture of islam for the uneducated. granted this was a small minority but still

Its this small minority that is bringing down the views of islam and islam itself, fuleling the fire for the anti-muslim. Mulsims need to address these small minority, which imo is doing far greater worse to muslims than a cartoon depicting allah.

@joe, "To me it sounds like your saying muslims are special and non-muslims arn't ( u know Islam is very sensitive regarding our religion.. ) I'm sure everyone no matter what religion they are beleaves there religion is "very sensitive". "

So if I think it's alright to kill people, does it mean that it's alright?
It's an exteme example but it shows the point.

As I said, Muslims don't like it. It's not just a cartoon, it's showing the Prophet with a bomb and the word God on it. Its insulting.

Why are you saying that we think Muslims are special? Because we dont like to be made fun of? Because we are in politically correct times?
Why dont white people say the word Nigger in public?

Seems to me, it's not about the issue anymore, you've got an alterior motive.

So far quite a few people have tried to explain their reasoning, but you've just avoiding listen to people.

It's wrong.

they'll surive the ban, they'll just be losing profit.

@joe, who says we 'aren't' addressing that minority. You haven't been reading Arabic news. It's a perfect example of how you only know what you're told by your own media.

At the moment muslims feel hurt and angry which is quite frankly understandable..and we all say and do things in the heat of the moment, hopefully everyone on boths sides of the arguement will just forgive and forget and move on and let this kind of thing never happen again..the media has hopefully has learnt from this bitter experience and will be a lot more carefull and use its \"Freedom of Speech\" wisely and not be offensive and disresptfull to anyones religion, faith or practice...we all have one planet to share and nowhere else to go so we do need to educate each other and respect one anothers beliefs and practices if we are to live together as one.

I imaging taking the piss out of hindus, jews christians is insulting too (a la simpsons and south park).
But these insults never mount to nothing why? Maybe because no one takes it to seriously. Just like that cartoon should of not been taken seriously.

Is this picture of moses not just as bad

joe mate thats what we are trying to say to you..muslims are not like, christians, hundus or jews...Muslims are very very sensitive to anyone insulting the Holy Prophet in any kind of way..Islam is taken very very seriously,...All muslims want is for non-muslims to respect a few fundamental rules of Islam...its not asking for much if muslims say don't print or show pictures of the prophets is it?..for the sake of peace and harmony between communities we should all do our best to respect each other as much as possible.

maybe it time that the muslims start to recognize, that we live in the 21th century and not in the 15th... i have to accept them, ok. but what about the other side, arent they ready to be a bit more "cool" ? its not really fair imo
