I purchased my BT 200 several weeks ago at FRY's for only 79$ since there was a special offering. It does all it promises. It does break up a little when batteries are low and there are obstacles between the phone and the headphone but the overall quality and performance is great. My only comment is concerning the charger... a universal switching power supply (like the one supplied w/ the T68i) would be better if you travel. Voice commands work if you are in a quiet environment. Batteries never left me down... what else to say? I am enjoying my purchase!

I got mine a few weeks ago too. Find it really comfortable and I generally don't like headsets. No problem with reception even in the car. Can activate voice dialling if in quiet zone, but not in the car always.
I like it mainly when in the car as a hands free as I get a bit self conscious talking into thin air (headset almost hidden under my hair) if wandering around the shops!!!

I also had alot of static on my Jabra, but I got my T68i upgraded to R6A012 and all of the static went away.
To bad ATT will not offer this service, had to pay a hacker to do a simple upgrade.

I believe the range/static factor is partly firmware dependant, as mt R5D007 T68i does not sound nearly as clear as my friend's R3C001 (or whatever AT&T is running currently) phone. I DID notice that his Motorola BT headset sounded MUCH MUCH better on either of our phones than my Freespeak, though. My combo just plain sucks compared to his Moto/ATT T68i, which DOES sound just like a landline. I sure wish I could figure out how you folks are getting such clear sound...the absolute best I get is "fair"...the worst is Charlie the Tuna from Starkist.

OK I am very new to this bluetooth thing and have just bought my first bluetooth accessory the Jabra BT200. Now if I switch of bluetooth on my phone and switch of the BT200 and then later on switch the BT200 on and activate BT on my T68i why do they not see each other do I need to pair them every time I switch them on. I know this has proberbly been asked before but I could do with a reply from you guys Just so I know what I am doing wrong please.

I actually just returned my BT-200 after a week. The sound was very "watery" if I left the phone in the belt holster on the same side of my body. Neither a jeans pocket, nor an inside jacket pocket were any good either. If I took the phone out and held it up, it was better, but that defeats the purpose.
The phone was billed as being able to leave the phone in a briefcase or jacket pocket, and use a headset wirelessly. That's clearly not the case at all. I'll stick with wired headsets until the technology matures a bit.
BTW, I had the R5D007 firmware from AT&T.

after reading these reviews i'm really tempted to get the freespeak, especially for the low price! However i've just seen this
http://www.aria.co.uk/ProductInfoComm.asp?ID=7166 (don't yet know who makes it although i have emailed aria so hoping they'll get back to me pretty soon) which looks like amazing value for money (if it works

) and wanted to know if anyone has any experience of this product?
thanks.

I just bought my BT200 so I am still getting used to it. My first impressions are very good. At first it is a little bit difficult to put it on and it feels strange but after a little while you forget you are wearing it.
I do have some things about the voicedialling. Do you need to activate a special setting like automatic/on at the bluetooth menu? Voicedialling does'nt seem to work when on automatic, only with 'on'. And I can't get the phone to accept a call using my voice. I keep saying yesyes - the word I trained - but nothing.
