Just updated a phone here at work to R1CA and did a photo side by side comparison with my own phone which has R1BC.
Onscreen the whitebalance was way different between the two but once transfered to the PC, well, see for yourself.

@Firefreak , i'd watch carefully through your photo comparisson between R1BC againts R1CA... Quick look on the picture, seems like R1BC stil winning.. maybe it took with a diffrent situation ( handshake probably ) just look carefully on the Small Dolphine.. R1BC is more clearer than the R1CA.. well, that's just what came out from me though

"Warning!

The images are indeed very similar, but this doesn't come as a big shock to me! I think handshake is a factor at play, but would have to say that IMO in the second image, the newer firmware is looking better - less blue streaks - as seen on the orange wall in the background.
I think streaks is the best thing to compare as anything else can be so reliant on stability of the person taking the photo, and autofocus.

I took the pictures just to see if there were any big differences between them and yes, I didn't hold the phone completely still so there is a slight blur to it. Allthough you can see that there is actually more dynamics in the new firmware but this can also be the differences between the phones CMOS sensors.
If it hasn't been done when I get back after the weekend I can post a more thurough side-by-side comparison with more comparable and more representative pictures.
(I really want the W800 version NOW)

always nothing for france, BC forever in france:-(
JUST a question:
if SEUS offers me to update anyway to the same firmware (You have latest firmware installed, "continue anyway"), does it means that the CDA is OK?
the latest formware is R1BC, updated via SEUS, but before I flashed once via Davinci team, but after updated via SEUS to R1BC...
HELP...

think your CDA is from W800 and there is no updates for w800 now. So wait until it'll appear.
