Apart from that what is it like? Can you have vista as ntfs or whatever it is called rather than fat32 is it? I am sure in boot camp you can have the option of two types of install think with ntfs you can move files and folders to and from each partition but it may be unstable and with the other you cannot move files and folders.

Btw fatreg how much ram do you have do you think that has something to do with it at all?

Ah i see, yeah i do not want to feck my macbook up either think i will get some dvd r and back everything do a complete reinstall and then put vista on next week when i have time.

I wonder how much ram the person who installed it had for it to take ages to load or maybe the ram has nothing to do with it.

i personally dont see why people are concerned with start up times.... i start my pc once a day if im lucky... im much more concerned about general performance.. not having a go, just wondered if you guys and gals sit there with a stop watch timing it

I really wanna download this and try it, but i know it'll end in tears, the last time i atempted anything like this i lost all me and my GF's holiday pics.... my oh my did i get a ear full.....

So i'd definatly back up miss c

Yeah i do not mind about that either really i never switch my laptop off anyway, ever!

Ooops i try to back everything up apart from music as that is on my ipod all the time and there are programs to get music off again so no bother there, it is just a pain having to reinstall everything again and get all the updates.

Not yet no handing it in later.
