@DocTorpor
why don't you recalibrate the screen? See Control Panel>Other>Setup Wizard

Thank you, Jah!
Shame on me! I skipped the wizzard altogether, convinced that I would find all these options in the settingsmenu later on.
May I suggest to SonyEricsson that they add the calibration option to the 'Settings' menu for other people just like me

updated to R31... latest firmware
Bugs that still exist
1. Phone restarts randomly although now very less frequently than before
2. Call clarity has been affected. Sometimes there is a lot of breaking even when signal is full strength. disconnect and reconnecting the call helps.
3. Rare memory out errors still exist
Rest seems fine for now
It's the first time someone else has reported the same problem I have with call clarity. I had voice breakup even with the strongest signals with the previous firmwares and this one hasn't changed things much.

Have it occured to you since so few have the call clarity problem and it still remains with new FW version, that you may have a HW fault ?

@adhussain
my call clarity is fantastic, now that I have been using the M600 for a while I think it is better then my Nokia 9500 which I always considered to be very good.
I think you should try yo reflash with a fully charged battery and don't be tempted to stop the flashing process because its taking a while.
Do you use a GSM or 3G/GSM network?

I've had this complaint from the first phone call on the M600. I did a firmware update on a fully charged battery yesterday and did'nt stop the process, the sound is still not at par with my P910 or P900. GSM network.

Excuse my ignorance but what would happen if a battery was 75% or 50% charged and not 100% charged during a firmware upgrade? I understand the risk if the phone loses all power during a firmware upgrade but isn't 75% capacity enough to sustain a charge for a firmware upgrade?
Thanks

@RxistKJ
yes from experience 75% is okay. But remember to charge using the mains supply, USB charging only works well if you are conntected directly to a USB port of a PC not using a battery (ie not a laptop).

Thanks Jah...wasn't sure if I was missing something.
Another feature I have seen pictures of but can't seem to find on my M600i is how to view in landscape mode--anyone come across this?
