Nokia does everything but comply to standards; in a way that is one of their strategic strengths. Look at their picture-messaging for example.

Ericsson invented

but everyone can use it... Sony invented MiniDisc, MemoryStick and now MemoryStick Duo and does not license them. This slows those standards acceptance dramatically down.
Nokia is doing the same mistake.

I don't quite understand this complaint that Nokia doesn't support any standards. Could some of you explain this a little bit??

Well, I referred to their picture messaging thing they had and that fouled bluetooth support in 7650. And pop-port? They get credit for using symbian though.

I was never sure P800 was going to be a hit; but I don't think it is going to be much less popular because it is delayed a month or two.

serser, welcome to Esato
I've never heard of that thing. Can't say I like the looks, it's kinda brick-like. No

, no Symbian or PPC or Smartphone, no Java - and it's only dual-band meaning it won't work in the US so no go for me...
Oops it does have Java.

it is going to be locked to the orange network, but than it will be possible to get it unlocked and considering the fact that its windows we are talking, there should not be a problem at all to hack it up, the question is, how do i get it if i am in the states and obviously don't intend to sign a british contract of any sort, so how do i go aobut it? and does anyone know anything about the release date of the sendo z100? i like it way more....
