Hi all,
As much as i loved Sman and it was always the must have app for the P series and i am sure a lot of work has gone into it and it will be stunning. I really don't believe it is going to be able to do all we would like and are used to being able to do. That's not in any way saying i can't wait for it to be available just pointing out the consequences again of the new Security in Symbian.

The last thing that they announced over @My-Symbian was that they were awaiting the week 48 firmware as there were too many problems with the current software to be able to proceed as they were spending too much time band aiding dodgy code. As Cellphone soft have now confirmed that SE have disabled the Auto start feature for apps that are not Symbian signed i would imagine this will also cause them more problems but I'm sure ajack and droll will announce something soon but think it is still some way off from being able to be released.

Don't waste your time as it will most definitely not work a if it did everyone would be running it already and Ajack and Droll wouldn't be putting so much effort into developing it for UIQ3 would they? UIQ3 is not the same as UIQ2 and no software that worked on UIQ2 will work on UIQ3 and that sadly is a fact.

Any news on the Sman for UIQ3? I assume now with the new firmware some of the most serious bugs with the menus reappearing/disappearing have been fixed...i miss having this app on my P990 phone!
