in this forum page 21 Sonagoblo says"5> IN UR PC MOBILE MODEM OPTION CHANGE UR APN" I don not understand it and i can not do it . I am using Windows 98 ands exploreer 6.0. This Bsnl Trick not works with me. whenever I connect to mobile by Pc dialing it dials but not connected.
Help.......................pls...........................................
(I am now working with Airtel Trick ,its ok)

Mr. Shivam I have wronghly wrote that in this forum Sonagoblu Says. But it will be the another forum of BSNL Free Gprs he says it.
My phone does not connected to computer( as it was said in Airtel that connection established and it is working ). So I Can not do it with BSNL please help I am Using K 300 i of Sony Ericsson, Windows 98, and Opera browser.

Activation of portal service is done by smsing portal to 3733 (it is so annoying , users are requested to read my posts as there's no point in writing out the things already said,)
similarly, the extra initialization command is to be entered in the modem properties. My very first post clearly tells what the string is and where to enter it.

if u have a post paid connection then u gotta write down an application to the bsnl officer requesting to disconnect gprs!

okie u need to configure proxy for yahoo messneger in oreder to use it with this trick!
now in yahoo,
messneger>connectio preferences>then enter proxy settings as 192.168.51.163 and port as 8080
