hey folks,
I just bought the p990 and I was excited to take it home and try the WiFi the phone has, but I haven't been able to connect to my internet service properly. The phone says I'm connected to my wireless network but nothing ever gets recieved or sent, the globe flashes from time to time. And when I go and use the Web program, it says it can't locate the server. ---
Disabling WLAN power saving is the shit. After 24h on the web searching for solutions I found this solution on a forum.
I made a new WLAN account and called it "power saving disabled" where I disabled WLAN power saving. Using this account to connect to my Airport base station (the old model) everything works.

All you Wirelesswizards.... maybe you have an anwer.
I need to see the (DHCP assigned) IP address on my phone. So not on WAP, not in an email that I send, but on my P990.
Is there any way to see the IP address ON the P990? Or is there an app that reveals it somewhere (on P990)?
Thanks for any responses, this is driving me mad (not finding it

).

Not sure if this is what you are after? But if you go to Control Panel/Connections/WLAN.
Click the downward pointinf triangle at the top, next to "WLAN". You will see "MAC Address" at the bottom. Click it and it will give you the phone's address.
Hope whis helps,
Dave

I have a dlink g604t router which has worked great ever since I got my p990. My biggest problem has been the phone which crashes a lot, yes I do have the latest f/w and the phone is unbranded. My question is why goes the phone not show how much data has been sent/received yet it tells me how long I've been connected for. Also my total connection time is 79 day, only had it for 3 weeks!
Also how do I change the browser to display web pages as normal html?
Thanks
