Playing with one in a shop, doesn't the flip cover part of the screen?

I meant that when I open or close the flip, the screen get transitorily / fully white before displaying the wallpaper images. Does it the same on yours?

Everyone should take their flip off even if its just for a day! i had no interest in having the flip off but tried it and WOW it looks better, it works better, it feels better. The qwerty is so much easier to use without the flip in the way and is alot quicker than the keypad for texting! the stupid suggestions for words are not a problem with flip off when writting a text! try it! taken with a p990flip off!

Flip off is definately the best way to use the P990i, me thinks.
The flip also makes the p990i bulkier and a little heavier.

Hello!
Is there any way to reply to a message without using the stylus?

No there is no way to reply to a message in FO mode without touching the screen. This is a Huge flaw for me.

Just a quick question, when your in a voice call, can you use the side scroll wheel to adjust the volume of the speaker in both flip off/ on mode?

Thanks

Has anyone without flip tried to use SEUS yet? At the point where you hold the C key and connect to USB, what do you press instead? Or do you have to put back the flip to use SEUS?

(I prefer to keep the flip on: Flip Closed = Phone. Flip Open = PDA.)
