This "pressrelease" starts with "21 December 2006, London"... so this would mean it would be announced today in London, which it probably won't. I don't doubt you axxxr, only your source. This is most likely fake info. Also the succesor of the K800 would have a smaller size than the K800 and 117mm is just huge.

Why are Sonyericsson dragging their feet and not combining Edge/HSDPA ang GSM together in one handset.
I'm happy they have introduced these two handsets but would it not make sense to include this tecnology into one of the handset's for future use as HSPDA will be the next big thing giving the handset home broadband speed so you can send and receive large picture files, surf the internet and the rest.
The mix of bands would improve the roaming coverage speed you would have when roaming abroad and help extend the LIFE of the handset saving money in the long run.
They are not thinking long term as Motorola, Samsung and Nokia have handset's comming with those features.
