After updating to the latest firmware unable to change the icons ...
More-> Edit-> Shortcut Icon-> When browsing the folders it does not show any icon (.png) files.
The files are there - File Manager shows them properly.
Anyone else? Workaround/Fix?

Hi all,
I've updated the firmware too, but I'm still waiting for the proper language package, not available in the download area yet. Not a big deal though.
What is really annoying is a "new" bug in the Calendar & Task applications only, while modifing the time: tapping the hours is fine but if I tap into the minutes box the frame becomes blank, and I can see through it while touching the screen only!!! The same behavior applies using the keys...
Curiously, it does not happen while setting an alarm time...
Does anyone have the same problem?
Do you think that I should try the update once again? I've already did it twice... Sigh...

@ G-Izzat
Thanks but I did it a dozen of times, keeping the on/off key pressed, removing the battery too... I've updated the phone last week.
It's really bad. I cannot believe that I'm the only one having this problem!!!

This was after updating on 02/01/07. The update I got was 'World Generic 2'.
How do you got the 'World Generic 2' info? i'd like to know my version which depends on cda 162016/67, but during the update I can't see any string which describe it

I"m assuming the /2 in "CDA: 162011/2 R4C01" tells you its world generic 2. My phone has the /8 meaning its the singapore firmware (grrrr when I can finally update my phone)

Does anyone know if it is possible to have new messages and missed calls displayed on the screen which shows you the time and tells the user how to unlock the keypad?
seems such a useful feature to just forget....

it hasn't been forgotten. immediately after showing you the screen with the time and how to unlock it will show a dialogie of missed call or new message etc so all you have to do is unlock and click view to actually view the item

Yes, but its really sad there is no visual cue of it. Like a light blinking or something else.
Seems a bit out of place for a messaging phone. If you leave it at your desk to charge, you will never know if you have a missed call or message unless you go there and unlock the phone for something else.
