I read theres a new video of saddam on a hospital bed (dead of course) with his neck all twisted and marked, i think i read it in the evening standard, haven't bothered looking for the vid myself.

i dont think they should hang sadam because maybe it will be bad for america in the future. What if they do one more terrorist attack. I know he is very $#@#@ bad but they should have kill him in his sleep or shot him or let him kill him self or blow him self up

Well as he was tried in iraq im pretty sure that hanging him is the punishment for the crimes he did acording to iraq law (not sure).

btw does anyone know if there was mass demos in iraq after his death (i thought there mite be)?

He was given the death penalty by the iraqi judicial system with a lot of presure from the US! I dont like or agree with what sadam did but i think now he is dead he will be seen as a martyr by the people who keep the insurgency going! The US wont be out of iraq for a VERY long time!

& yes there was demonstration after his death both for & against

@CJTLS you hit it on the head, now there will be a martyr causing more greif than he did when he was alive and it will give America more reason to keep troops over there. But yes I think he is dead, there is no good reason to keep him alive, America likes powerfull friends and he is not that anymore.
