Hey all,

can we all make sure we dont put ourselves in the same position as this plonker (shirleyville), if people make threats on here, joking or not you are liable to get yourselve into trouble.

i really appreciate how people are supporting me so please dont take this the wrong way, im just worried you will get yourselves into trouble

Hope, you'll get it sorted, even if it's "only" 40 gbp, scam = scam !

These kind of people should get an IP-ban, doesn't make it impossible for them to come back under another name, but at least it's not so easy.

and i know its just £40..... but the real pain is the fact i have 2 x new housings, a new battery, new charger and new data cable with nothing to use them all with - bummer!

Well I think by now it's been proven: the guy is definitely a scammer. So I think you should stop waiting and actually take action. He's clearly not gonna do anything about the issue (just like tho other times). Maybe bring the police along with you. You could try to get in contact with others that were scammed by him before and form a "scammer takedown team".
