When I first bought my k790a I compared the phone with the n73. Even though n73 had symbian on it the k790a seemed like a better phone because of it's single purpose of taking a pictures. So I went for the k790a because of its incredible ability to take night photos with its Xenon flash. Now that Nokia has implemented Xenon flash on to its n82 with symbian, I do believe the tables have turned in favor of Nokia.
In order for me to choose SE over Nokia...SE needs to have its k800 successor a smart phone as well.

I've tested N70,N73,N80 and some older models.When I tested them,they weren't that great(after some time I heard Nokia have done some good improvements on N73's software).So what about N83?No one interested?Its not my type(its thick) but someone may find it interesting.

the xenon flash isnt everything imo. lets wait for the cam too. nokia never had that mixture yet, do hope they can manage it right.

@icaka if u test fones wilth first fw, most of them are buggy, but the upgrade do fixe the problems. for e60 there are 2 fw versions, the 2nd one from last july and the fones works perefct.

yes I DID say that.Usually I test a phone when it has just hit the shelves or up to 2-3 months later so in most cases the phone is with fw1.But bugs are not the main problem,the UI is what I don't like in Nokias.Also,they have great hardware,but hardly fulfill my expectations - they are slow(with big memo cards - N70 for example) or bad night pics(those strange colours - N73) or bigger/thicker than I expected(thinking of N80).In contrast,SEs are a bit behind with hardware but do things better.So specs are confusing sometimes.
btw,here you can see the N83(I see deuxani's N83 works everywhere!great work,deuxani!

in fact,no,I haven't tried E60,its not my type.Anyway,there are very much positive thoughts about it so I don't argue its a good phone.Boba,sorry if I'm not right,but I feel you are a bit offensive towards me.I haven't any bad intentions.I like Nokias and SEs and Nokia is ahead now,I agree.But they pretend to be more than they are really.N95 is a good example IMHO.Not that SE is 100% true - Walkman series aren't the best music solution at all.But everybody knows that,we are in a SE-oriented site after all.

u see, when u write, that u test fones with the frirst fw, its clear, that it has bugs and slower then the coming ones, so i wouldnt judge on the first sight. according cz and nokia. its well known, that cz and nokia arent the best together, since n90 its a known fact, that tha mixture didnt offered us the wished result. the pix are nice, but not that good. n73, n93 pix are better, maybe they did some development, but its still not a k800 quality. the video is another story, thats where se still sucks.
but the most important thing is at asymbian fone the os, not the cam imo. i used almost every symbian model, have to admit, i was very satisfied to i stick to those ones.
