Have you also looked at the MK2 SEAT Arosa. Same as the Lupo except the lights are different (front looks meaner as well
)
Since we're compairing licences. In 10 years on a full car licence (13 years on a full motorbike licence). I got:
One CD10 (Careless Driving)
4 points to go with the above
3 SP30's (48 in a 30 on the A500, 70 in a 60 on the A34 and 32 in a 30 in Sheffield)
Only the SP30's left on now and one of them comes off in Nov 08

Well i have a Lupo 1.0 from 05/2005 and i'm very happy
It has 21200 Kms and no problems so far
Love that VW
Also had a 1999 red Lupo (80000 kms now) before but now belongs to my sister, problems = 0

Thats a bit of a misconception. Even though they used to be very reliable, VW group cars have taken a bit of a knock lately. The Passet and Skoda Octavia are the least reliable cars in their class. It has also been proven that SEAT has been clocking their cars.
