i used to go round to a house to party, sadly before the time we had camera's on our phones. (dont know how we lived) but there was a picture of her grandparents who swore his dad used to haunt him) In the picture it was a photo of him and his wife, there was a clear image of cloudy aggressive face staring right in to the side of her grandads head.It is the most f**ked up thing ive ever seen in my life and would love to get a copy but, the family are nutters and wouldn't appreciate me coming round to take a picture of their dead grandparents

@king - OK, thanks for sharing your thoughts . . . well actually, in our HOUSE itself we've been experiencing paranormal-activities through the years because our place was ONCE the dumping SITE of dead soldiers buried by the Japanese Imerial Army during the second World War in our country . . . I've already SEEN (with my naked ) a ghost ! They BLEND with one of us, meaning copying every member of the household: phyisical form and the way we DRESS as well . . . the MOST common thing that happens inside our house is that they can imitate our VOICES and even some sounds inside the premises say like: doorbell and how the telephone sounds when it rings (and I am NOT talkin' about PARROTS and Mynah Birds here - OK ! )

@cyco - Thanks for the INFO . . . never knew that you are ONLY great in PC-stuffs . . . but in ghosts as well .. . I remember the great Bo Derek was had this flick: GHOSTS can't DO it . . . do you THINK so too

This photograph was taken in 1963 by Reverend K. F. Lord at Newby Church in North Yorkshire, England. It has been a controversial photo because it is just too good. The shrouded face and the way it is looking directly into the camera makes it look like it was deliberately posed – and a clever double exposure technique was used. Yet supposedly, the photo has been scrutinized by photo experts who say the image is not the result of a double exposure.

The Reverend Lord has said of the photo that nothing was visible to the naked eye when he took the snapshot of his altar. Yet when the film was developed, standing there was this strange cowled figure.

The Newby Church was built in 1870 and, as far as anyone knows, did not have a history of ghosts, hauntings or other peculiar phenomena. Those who have carefully analyzed the proportions of the objects in the photo calculated that the specter is about nine feet tall!

Looks to much like Scream/Scary movie to me. but the rest are just plain freaky

@jojo

Several people have claimed to have been 'sexually abused' by ghosts but coincidentally, nearly all of them were trying to get the local authority to move them to a bigger house for free or sue their landlord at the time

@taz

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they got the inspiration for the scream mask from that photo, it is incredibly similar. The photo was definitely taken a good 30 years before the scream movies, I have a book from 1972 that features it so it can't be a modern fake based on the film character and made to look old.

@razec

When I first saw that photo I thought it was faked but then I thought "why would he wait 60 years to publish it?" It's a very strange one indeed.
