OK so just because your friend says so we all have to agree do we, just how does he encode his Music and at what Bit Rate and format?
As that is what effects the quality of the sound you hear along with the hardware that powers the device. I use AAC @256kbps with a pair of Shure EC2g headphones and the sound is nothing short of stunning good enough to replace my 5th generation iPod.
As unlike some i actually tried both the W880 and a W950 and the sound from both was both lower in Volume and had a much less well defined sound stage. I have never had my battery run flat and only charge last thing at night unless i am using Tom Tom with my external GPS receiver in the car with my phone in which case it is hardly difficult or hard to use a in car charger or is that to difficult for you?
Whilst your K850 may only be a phone well actually a Camera phone to be accurate the N95/ N95 8GB is actually a Multimedia smart phone and able to perform many more tasks than just a phone and Camera and does them well.

K850 is a decent multimedia phone (as is the K800). It doesn't have as good resolution as N95 but the screen size isn't that much different and the resolution at such small screen sizes isn't as critical to viewablility as it would be on a full sized display. The Nokia's (especially the vga screen versions) will play a broader range of video formats (with third party players), but K850 plays video really well (if you disable orientation sensor) if you resample it to the correct specifications. It's true Nokia N95 is pushing the envelope, but this doesn't mean K850 is only a camera phone. It has well and truly the features to call it a high performance MultiMedia device.
And depending on your perspective, has better detail in it's base pictures, which with intelligent use of onboard manual controls can be much better than N95 pics. Really my only concern with K850 pictures is the purple tinge. This is disappointing. But in all other respects I can see by using the exposure control and iso control on the K850 most of the other factors where default settings of the N95 best the K850, can be overcome. IMHO the K850 is a more useful and flexible camera than the N95.
All this either/or stuff has finally broken me guys.
The N95 and K850 are both good phones. One can prefer K850 without having to hate the N95 (and vice versa). The N95, and N82 are very nice phones there is no doubt about it. But just because they have many technical specs that are ahead of the K850, it's no reason to dismiss the K850 completely. For many people the SE UI is way ahead of Nokia, the styling is more appealing and the camera is more flexible. These aren't things you can assess on an absolute basis. They are factors that will have different meanings for different people. When I look at the pros and cons of N series versus SE K series, I invariably find more to my liking in the K series. This is not because of blind fanboyism but simply because K series suit my personal needs. No one should have to defend their reasons for liking this phone over that. If everyone wanted the phone that is best on paper it would be a boring world with everyone walking around with identical phones!
How boring would that be!!
Also while one phone might be better on paper, it doesn't automatically follow that the other phone therefore has nothing to offer. As an example, I might drool over the latest ferrari or lambo sports cars, but I'd still be pretty freakin' happy in a Nissan 200SX! And in many ways I would prefer the better economy, cheaper parts, and better reliability of the Nissan over the Ferrari.
There is no single answer to which phone is better, not even in the narrow perspective of Camera comparisons alone.

i think that the nokia N95 have a QVGA(240*320) screen resolusion... SAME as the K850
and resolution is simply the number of pixels in a dispaly not the screen size!!
besides... can you name more than 1 nokia VGA screen phone!!!
and one more thing: i think it's the K850 that is able to play more video formats such as .WMV(not saying the quality.. just the number of supported video formats)

Personal preferences cannot be debated. We are just looking at absolute here.
Maybe you can only tolerate speed of 90mph which your nissan (k850) can do as well as the ferrari (N82). But to say the nissan is as good as the ferrari because both can go at 90mph is just ridiculous and sounds more like self consolation to me.

did you even read the post i had answerd to:
he said that the N95 has a VGA screen and i answered: No it has a QVGA screen... thats all.
then i explained the meaning of the screen resolution (do you want me to explain that again for you)
then i told him that there aren't many VGA screen phones available
and at last i told him that in terms of number of supported video formats the K850 have the upper hand (but not the quality)!!
did you get that?

Really are you sure as from looking at PhoneArena.com that's not what it looks like to me. As instaed of WMV you get MPEG-4 and two newer Versions of RealVideo with 9 & 10 so unleess i can't count it does appear the N95 actaully does support more fromats after all. I think the most widely used and best quality and practical is H.264. which of course both do support.
But as you said quality wise well we all know which one wins there, as one has both a much faster processor and better graphics chip and either a 2.6" or 2.8" 16 million colour screen not forgetting 30fps VGA Playback and can be plugged straight into your TV or LCD/Plasma and played back @ 640x 480 VGA.

and btw 16 million colours doesnt matter....my frnds k810 has a better display than my 5700..its crisper....

Well then i suggest you either change the light sensor to 100% or if it's already there take it to a service centre as obviously some thing is wrong with it. But then it's not a N series so it may not be as good as flagship products. Really it's $250 more has the K850's price dropped so much already? But then that's not really surprising considering one is just a Camera phone and the others a Multimedia smart phone and like everything in life you only get what you pay for.
