... but it says US launch is very likely, and we all know how easy it is to get US iphones to UK
so in this small world, it doesn't matter if they don't actually launch it locally right away, I guess

well... lets see if it is announced, and if so, what the new features are and then I'll consider pricing but only if there's a simple unlock procedure like there was for the original models
thats alot of ifs but if it all works out then I'll be sure to dive in head first!

Likely to be pricy I bet too. Do you reckon they might have learned from the 1st iPhone and will make it even more difficult to unlock?
Still, where there is a will, there is a way I suppose.

I'm happy to wait until its NZ launch on Vodafone, but I want info NOW! Specifications - specifically broadband speed (3G/HSDPA/LTE), Bluetooth profiles, styling and estimated prices even in US dollars. Oh well, the wait goes on...
Will check out CNET on the day.
Any chance of a review when you get it Masseur?
Your V800 review was first class.

I heard this week that there is possibly 2 iphones, one being a smaller cheaper version (possibly iphone nano?)
anyway, I forgot to post the following pocket lint article from yesterday which, at first glance, seems to contradict cnet but perhaps this is just a forewarning to o2 about the US announcement
O2 told to "prepare" for Apple announcement on 9 June

I'd be happy with a 8Gig model (its for my wife, really it is
) it's the combination of Apple's browser and high-speed 3G I'm looking forward to.

More expensive here without a doubt, i always seem pleasantly surprised when the prices are shown at the WWDC then i remember it's in $'s.
I guess we''l know for sure on Monday but i'm guessing it'll probably be the USA first, UK only got iTunes movie rentals this week.
