22 million and growing actually. The next nearest is Vodafone with about 18/19 million.

And not speaking for O2 here, or boasting, but just stating a fact: O2 have the biggest customer base of all the UK networks.

I've never found it to be crap, so I have no idea what all the fuss is about Bonovox, like I said, YOU just happened to have a bad experience.

It's like saying "I bought this can of Coca Cola and it was flat, all Coca Cola is crap because it's all flat and shit!" All I'm saying is, while I agree O2 in your area is a bit poo, you can't really sit there and say the entire networks crap. If it was, I wouldn't be able to use my phone, now would I?

As i already said before i left all i got were connection problems in most places. In the end it was not just my area. Customer numbers were bigger on other networks years ago and yes its that way for O2 now. But just wait for few years down the line when it all goes tits up just like it did with Orange. Who gives a shit about customer numbers if the network is not upto scratch then its no good. Anyway enough said about this i wish to move on.

I just want to add that where I live - Milton Keynes - the O2 network is excellent. I get 5 bars almost everywhere I go. In my experience, it's second only to Orange here. I used to have a contract on Vodafone and the signal was very poor; I would get no more than 2 bars anywhere.

in this area though, the worst is T-Mobile. At home, I'd have to stand in the back garden to send a text.

I have not had any problems with signal on my O2 account. In the past month I have been all over the country and the only time I have had no signal was when I was on the cliff edge at Lizard point in cornwall.

See Bonovox? Just backs my statement up. It just annoys me when people say things like you said claiming its fact when it's clearly not.

Yawn!! I have said so many times the signal is fine the network is not. Nothing to do with signal at all as everyday it was constant connection problems not the signal. Jesus. In the end it was not just home it was work where i visit friends family where i go to bloody have fun. EVERYWHERE. Thats why i left cos it started at home. YOU know i tried changing the phone the sim the settings so to me it just goes to prove O2 are flagging under the pressure the network is crap and im sorry but i stand by that statement. O2 is becoming over subscribed. And i have not had one problem with Vodafone always connects. GOOD DAY TO YOU.

Your one to speak with anger issues getting all worked up and annoyed in a fair few of your posts when people ask questions. I have been on the O2 forums & sooooo many people are experiencing same issues as me!!!!! SO BUGGER OFF!!!!!
