I think the reason of macro pic with flash on with k850 being overexposed is not only the xenon flash. Nokia N82 has xenon flash but it can take really good macro pics with flash on. I think K850 only needs more tweaking in camdriver or the firmware itself.

If we could use LED, we could finally make macro pictures with the k850i.
Even with a cleaned light sensor macro pictures are over-exposed..especially with whitish objects....

I havent had much problem with taking macro pics with flash on, if you use document mode they turn out fine, you can see the pictures i have uploaded in my folder.
Also I have seen n82 camera performance and it has problem of overexposing pictures sometimes.

I have been using RC6 for the last couple of days. The picture quality is superb. Close to real colors. But I have found a few bugs. It would be greater if u try to fix them. the bugs are:
1. When I start camera in auto scene mode and change it to some other scene and come back, forced flash does not work. Even switching to RER or Flash Off and and back does not correct this. camera has to be restarted.
2. When I select night landscape mode exposure is increased, but when switching back to auto mode, exposure is not corrected back to normal automatically.
3. When I decrease expsosure (eg, -3 or -7), it reflects in view finder, but when I half press shutter button, it goes back to 0 position exposure and photo is taken with 0% exposure.
4. Often, I get an error message that "another application is running..." and camera gets closed automatically.
Hope u will rectify these in the next release.
Thanks KillerPK, keep up the good work

I've never got the message "another application is running with JAC v4.6 rc6

It's working perfectly.

No. 1 and 2 are real problems, but i think number 3 is normal even in the original camdriver. It doesn't bother me that much. But it would be great if someone will fix it.

Please check if this version resolves problem 2 and 3. i have no clue about problem 1 as i cant test it without a k850, but i still think that it shouldnt be a problem if you change flash mode to Off, wait a few seconds and then turn flash to Auto. As for problem 4, some people have it when using modded camdrivers, i think its a firmware problem.
